This has to be one of the worst schools in Arizona. Through my experience the students have this fighting initiation that occurs if you want to be a student there. Your child is most likely is going to decline from their start date to the last date there. This school will mentally break your child. It again has to be one of the worst schools! This school will provide a negative impact on your child’s mental.

school is horrible no actual work done. I feel like this school does not care about us and I would strongly describe more things if i haft to. Besides that, the food is horrible. And there are fights every day. And the police are here half the time. If you don't want your kid getting bullied or even beat don't send them here.

This place is horrible the place is always messy and my kids found bugs in their food which is disgusting I really hope this school get shut down. The teachers are rude to my kids and unfair with the students. The kids in this school steal and are rude because the teachers don't show them manners neither teach them.

Safety is not a priority. Students bully and harass each other with no consequences. The teachers keep quitting because kids are allowed to hit and spit on them and nothing is ever done. They are told to just deal with it and the kids stay in class and just do the same thing over and over again.

Terrible leadership! Glad to be free of this place. If you want your kid to get "straight A's" while watching youtube and making tiktoks in class by all means send them here. They learn nothing! Teachers are completely unqualified and the principal doesn't care. Don't get me wrong, everyone is nice but they are not doing their job!

My kids love Hurley Ranch elementery. They are so looking forward to the 2022 school year. They all had perfect attendance last year and loved their teachers. I reward my kids $20 per A that they earn and I round up for B’s. They made out like bandits! It’s not that we haven’t had our share of problems at school but I thought they were handled appropriately. Thank you Hurley Ranch for making my children’s experiences overall good ones.

Teachers keep leaving and for good reason. Bullying is out of control and the Principal only cares about making himself look good to the parents who threaten to go to the school board. There is zero consistency or accountability here. My kids went from loving school to hating it and I 100% blame this place. My kids teachers were nice enough but they just weren't effective.

Mr. Watkins is the most useless principal imaginable. It’s no wonder the few good teachers this school has managed to get keep leaving after a year or two. I’ve heard him speak in such a condescending and rude tone to his staff, yell at students, and then turn right around and give loud obnoxious and bully parents whatever they want. It’s a license for kids to bully other kids and the teachers won’t do anything because they know all it will take is for the parent of a bully to yell at the principal and he will give them whatever they want

Now, I'm not exactly a parent, I was a student there for 1 year, and left the year after because it was so bad. It didn't deal with bullying at ALL, the year I went there any children above the 3rd grade weren't allowed to ride the buses, the uniforms are... well they're just bad, the heat in most of the school is dreadful, and I only remember liking the music teacher and the P.E. teachers. I went there for 4th grade when it was rated 6 and still switched schools to a different district without moving, my parents working near the district and finding it better to send me to a good 1 hour away school then send me to this one withing walking distance.

My child's experience has been very positive thus far. His teachers communicate with me frequently and have high expectations. His current teacher is tough but fair and I think he is learning a lot.

This school is so bad my son got beat up twice. Nobody did anything about it they gave us the run around. My daughter was 6yrs old and tried to tell an adult that she was getting picked on in the lunch room. And the lady on lunch watch told her SO WHAT!!! Go eat. My kids will not be attending this school this year. They didn't learn anything, the school is full of bullies!!! So happy to be done with this school.

This school has been amazing this 2013-2014 school year. My daughter started all day free kindergarten with free breakfast and lunch for every student. The teachers here are all outstanding, evening going beyond their expected duties. My daughter has excelled here, so I am disappointed that we are leaving this school in our move. Not one bad experience here.

Hurley Ranch had their STEAM event this past week. Wow, what a treat for parents and students. The Star Choir is as good as any high school choir I've seen and the student science projects and art projects were creative and well thought out. I am so impressed with what this school is doing with Science and the Arts.

Great school overall. Supportive staff, cooperative administration. Their budget is underfunded but teachers make good with what they have. Highly recommended.

this school is great teachers are really good staff too! they do so much for the kids fun raiser.. lots of fun things always thinking about kids and what they can do more better for the school!! you will love it...
