I never felt particurally welcome here. I learned a lot, but a lot of the people are unwelcoming to me.

The school has great staff and welcoming teachers. I observed a first grade class for a project for grad school and the staff were amazing with the kids. I have alot of respect for teachers but a new found respect for grade school teachers. You guys are doing amazing !

This school has great teachers who really care about the success of the students and their safety. There is constant communication between the teachers and parents, making sure that you always know where things stand with students, and what they are learning. They have started rolling out the electronic grade card and are part of a great recess program. Outside play is a big part of the day for every grade. When we moved out of the district we hated the idea of leaving this school and were so happy they allowed our kids to stay at the school. Beverly is not just a school, it is a community where parents, teachers, and staff all work together to provide the best learning experience. When I know someone is moving I always recommend the Beverly school district.

i transferred my kid to this school and i think it was a big mistake. i am really debating on pulling my kid out and driving the 12 one way trip to send her back to her old school. Beverly is very unorganized and the teacher she has had this year has been horrible. this teacher has singled out my kid and a few others from what i have been hearing from the other moms. this teacher seems nice and helpful to your face but the notes and letters that come home are very rude and disrespectful. i understand that moving schools is a big thing for kids but my kid has been having problems since the first day and i have tried to put her on the 504 plan for some extra help (they wont give kids that little extra help they need unless on a 504 plan) and almost 6 months later (and calling many times) i am still waiting for it to be approved . i am very unhappy with this school and the teachers and staff ...i dont even want to give it any stars but it wont let me go on with out putting atleast one

Back when all of these reviews were written, Beverly was a very nice school...since it has gone k-8 it has diminished greatly. More bullying that goes unanswered, lack of staffing and concern to address individual student needs, and very uncoordinated communication. Quite a shame really.
