The resources at this school are absolutely amazing. The teachers and staff here go above and beyond to assist students and their families with the tools needed to succeed. The respect, understanding, and love just emanate from the community setting that is provided. The principal at this school is the best I have ever experienced. He is the perfect balance of nurture and discipline which is what every child needs. I appreciate everything this school has to offer. I am in my 6th year with students at this school.

Administration is poor and doesn't respect parents concerns/advice. The superintendent needs to shake up the leadership there.

Helen Keller is a fabulous school! I’m very happy with all the teachers my son has had. I’ll be sad for him to leave at the end of this year.

THIS IS TRULY A GREAT SCHOOL! The staff and Principal are awesome! Great dedication towards the children. I couldnt ask for a better school for my children.

Helen keller, is a very great school for children to attend. The teachers are kind. The school curriculum provided by the teachers gives the children the skills and abilities to move forward with great expectations in their ability to succeed.

THE WORST!! I was a student there, and I absolutely HATED IT!! The teachers didn't help with my problems, the cirriculum is REALLY low, if you had a chance to take your kid anywhere else I would have, but I came from Palos East, which is WAY better. But I couldn't hate it more. Also, the books available are at a first grade level-MAX. The librarians don't encourage reading, I could NOT be more UNSATISFIED.
