This school has been on a downward trajectory for the last 10-15 yrs...... It lacks real leadership at the top and the accountability of the students and teachers is almost zero. I'm ashamed of how far this school has fallen. No discipline, no accountability, no moral code, and they are pushing kids out the door saying they graduated, when a lot of them have no business graduating and the results is the real world is eating them alive because the school system failed them!!!

Outstanding programs at THS! They have so many opportunities for students outside of core classes. Students can choose from so many excellent CTAE Programs!

Thomson High School is historic and treasured. They have great traditions and the teachers care so much about their students and their success.

Thomson High School "strives to become a top-rank learning community," but does not accomplish this, they are far too concerned with dress code that they are totally oblivious to the fact that education is why we are there. The school is also an "alert school" at the moment because of previous students' grades so now current students are suffering- we can no longer have a bonfire(which took place after school anyways) and our ONE pep rally was cut in half and lasted only thirty minutes. There are some very excellent teachers at this school but some are not quality educators and the students suffer- also many teachers have expressed dislike for the school. If the miserable expressions on the students faces do not tell you this school is not a pleasurable experience then I don't know what will. Also I have to comment on the overpriced drinks which are all "diet" and many of the machines are constantly out of order. But in short Thomson High School is not a good school and I will not be sending my children here.
