I attended Taneyville Elementary School years ago, from 1st grade through 8th grade ... I am now a 26 year old mother and still living in the Taneyville R-2 school district. I've had many chances to move but want my daughter to attend this school. It provides not only amazing memories for me while growing up but a solid learning system. My daughter is only 4 but school is just around the corner and I want her in a place that she too can experience all the goodness this school offers. A strong learning system, wonderful teacher that have the best in mind for these kids & the sports department is amazing! I have so many wonderful things I could say about this school but I better cut it short! Jamie C.

Taneyville is a wonderful small town school! The teachers and staff all care for each child on an individual basis, ensuring each child reaches there full learning potential and helps them succeed to a higher level. I cant say enough wonderful things about this school! I had the honor of attending when I was a child, and love that I can now send my own kids there. I cant think of a more deserving school to be recognized. I know small schools get overlooked sometimes by larger more populated schools, but this is truly school is truly a gem to our community.

My child has been going to this school for a while , honestly I plan on putting hium in a better school . The bully's are not dealt with ,and if you attempt to say anything you are blown off by the administration .

I love the Taneyville commumity and am proud that my grandaughter attends there now as my children each attended there as well. I love the fact that it is a "growing" small school with teachers that really care and spend quality time with our kids. 1 of my sons required extra help in "learning" due to a disability and is now in college with a 3.4 average grade --we attribute that to Taneyville teaching him how to study and to concentrate. Thank you Taneyville!! I only put 4 stars for principal and parent leadership/involvement as I've been out of the loop for a couple of years although I know my grandaughter has had 2 wonderful teachers so and I'm so glad she is there.
