I don't even know where to start from the many things that I can tell. I understand I must begin by saying that Mrs. Batista (the principal) is never available to parents when something wrong is going on with the administration. To better explain myself this school does not provide the necessary aids to students with learning disabilities and they trample on the rights of these students. It takes years to evaluate childrens with special needs, in my case they even questioned the college readiness of the psychologist who had evaluated my daughter. They insisted that there was no learning disability just for not admitting the inappropriate handling of the case. Thanks to God and after carrying out multiple evaluations with other professionals who do not belong to the school or the district, they did the evaluations and the PEI. The director never show her face or expressed that she was aware of the situation or that something was being done to help the minor. Today, the special education teachers have been absent teachers and there is no good communication between them and the ones from the regular program, they are all disconnected from the reality of many students. I consider that this school has excellent teachers but it has a very bad administration.

Horrible this school is unfair to certain students me and my child had a very bad experience here. There is so much to be say, where to start the principle is rude she made my child get out of class to give her counseling without permission since I told my child not to go and every time she sees my child she gets an attitude with her. The principal told the whole staff and everyone gets an attitude with us for nothing. My child math teacher calls everyone in class stupid when they get a math problem wrong. They show favoritism to concern students openly not caring how other students feel because my child felt unwanted and a child should not to be made to feel that way even if they do not like the parent and my child is a very sweet and quite child who causes no problems

Love, love, love this school!! Great teachers, great principal, great learning! This school has a zero tolerance policy which I also love. The P.E. class is 1 hour long every day of the week. We never had that in regular public school. Anyway, I'm very happy with everything at this school.

I absolutely love this school, from the office staff to the teachers and Cafeteria staff. My daughter has been going to this school for the past 3 years and she loves it. All of her teachers have been spectacular. I'd recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to get an excellent education.

I remember going to this school five years ago. Great school, but some teachers were very rude to parents and students, because I remember once, my teacher was yelling at the student for no reason.

Twin Lakes is a great school focused on education and family involvement. They have lots of extracurricular activities and field trips to keep the kids interested in learning!
