People will take the time to blast schools and teachers when it’s something negative but rarely do they pause to praise the positive. So here comes my praise report!!!When I tell you I am so proud of this young man!!! He is going to 4th grade!!! We have worked through many challenges this year, including entering a year below grade level in reading. We were so blessed to have had him attend Palm River Elementary this year! His teachers were so patient and dedicated to seeing him grow past his barriers and excel! He has grown one full grade level in reading!!! Plus his teacher now has my baby repeating the same manifestation I have heard her speak to is. He now will say, “Mom I can do anything I put my mind to” and “ I’m going to be a doctor one day!” He has his tribe at Palm River, all year people always jumped into support him! By tribe I mean everyone from the custodians to the lunch staff! They love them some Trace! I am especially thankful for the awesome administrative dream team!!! This was an amazing year, one that we haven’t had in years!

Nobody answers the telephones after students go to bus. Bus is always late. Last year my son was bullied and they did not seem to really care to stop it. perhaps it was his teachers fault. Not sure. Not happy with this school

I came to this School with 3 children form Child Protective Services that I have to raise, they have worked wonders with my children, they served my girls well, educating them to best expertize, andgreat Teacher experience

There are definitely teachers here that do care and do try, but this school IS NOT suited to help children or parents of children with special needs. Communication is terrible. I was speechless at how awful and rude the principal acted the one time I spoke to her. The shining star in this school is the farm and garden, which a few people put a WHOLE lot of effort into maintaining for these kids and I think it's very special and want them to know it makes a difference. I don't think my son would have made it through this school without it.

My daughter has been enrolled at Palm River Elementary school for going on her third year. The teachers are friendly enough and I like that they are uniform mandatory. But, last year my daughter had a bully in her class and I feel like her teacher could have done more to help keep my daughter safe and comfortable in the classroom. No child should be scared to go to school.

I think palm river is a great school and teaches kids very well and i am a student and they taught me very well
