My daughter attended this school for kindergarten and first grade. In both cases she had excellent teachers who had to manage a lot more students than they should. Regardless, both teachers excelled and provided my student with the extra attention and support she needed. My kiddo is an anxious one, and a quick text or email to the teacher always resulted in the extra attention (sometimes she just needs a hug!) she needed to feel safe, loved, and ready to learn.Academically, my student received everything she needed! Speech therapy, star reading class, and probably one other specialty program I'm not recalling. Would I like more special attention for my student? Yes, but what she received was enough to improve all of her test scores and keep her at grade level despite her unusually stressful home circumstances. Really can't say enough good things about every teacher and faculty member we interacted with here. Big shout outs to Thorne and Gonzalez, both of whom are excellent teachers.

I am quite displeased with this school over a multitude of negligent issues on behalf of the school, who continues to place blame on the children, district, state. I really am having a hard time with my children being educated by faculty ignorance and failing to really have the children's best interests at heart. I feel this school had completely failed the children.

My children are excelling at Syracuse Elementary in their math and reading and have had outstanding teachers that really care about them. Every year my kids say they have a new favorite teacher. I look foward to a traditional schedule and hope to see test scores for all students improve since there won't be so many long breaks. I would imagine children that struggle in the year round schedule will have more consitency to their learning. Love Syracuse Elementary. The PTA is always present
