The school is severely racist of African-American people they put a target on your children back and make sure they get suspended or wrongfully written up for ANY reasons please save yourself and children the trauma before sending them to this SCHOOL

This is school is mentally draining . you can get in trouble for not sitting down correctly . the principle is nothing but rude . verbal fights are constantly happening . physical fights no so much but when there is one is gets bad . the "social worker" is supposed to be there to talk anytime but if you need to talk she'll get to you in 3-5 business days . overall do not recommend for sensitive kids .

Everyone at the district is great, they all strive to make the students better and help them reach their academic goals!

Disgusting, seems as though none of the staff care about the students. Only there for a paycheck.

If your child has no disabilities fine. But I would not recommend coming here if your child is disabled, there will be a huge lack of support and understanding

Everyone believes our school to be not that great. Anyone who has attended any Solvay School knows that 's untrue. Solvay Middle School has excellent teachers that would do anything to help a student. Teachers here are kind, helpful, honest, and all around just wonderful people who give us something to learn about! I have been part of the music program since I got here, including band, chorus, the musical, all county chorus, NYSSMA select choir, and jazz band. Everything has been such a new and wonderful experience. I wouldn't want to receive my education anywhere else.

Our school is a great alternative to city school. It has a great diversity and most of the teachers are quite amazing. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the fact that they only offer Spanish and Italian for the extra languages....we are French so naturally that is what we wanted our children to learn.
