My daughter had 4 wonderful years at this school and continues to achieve above grade level at her new school. Parents who are concerned about performance and test scores need to look first to the level of support provided at home.

If you have a savings account use it to get your child a better education than at Roxboro. The teachers are tired and not full of ideas and charisma! Just around to get their tenure in. Any difficulties in the classroom will be ignored with a note to the parent to deal with it hours after the incident. Poor guidance on the principal.

Awful experience here!!! Teachers seem burned out, non problem students are the ones who suffer as they are overlooked and ignored. The principal has no business being a leader of an entire school, I don't think she could lead herself out of a paper bag. Lots and lots of talk and ZERO action or accountability. Office staff is miserable and although I can appreciate a safe and secure learning environment, it is like a jail. Stop by the school around lunch time if you want to hear the lunch ladies berating and belittling the students.

I've had two children go through Roxboro Road Elementary school, and this school is wonderful. The teachers really care about the students and take the time to attend to their individual needs. The principal is very involved. My children have loved going here and it has been an overall wonderful experience!
