My children love the school. We started at Horizon and then moved and went to Northside. I can say both children love Peace above and beyond both of those schools. Academically I feel they are far and above public school in Sun Prairie. When they talk with their friends, they are at least 1-2 grades equivilent higher. Finally, the athletic program is outstanding as the school is small, if you child wants to learn a sport, they can participate.

This is an OUTSTANDING 4K program that is very well worth the tuition. Our family is not part of the WELS faith tradition, and it is important to know, going in, that WELS beliefs are fully incorporated into every element of the curriculum. All incoming families have an opportunity to visit the school first and meet with Pastor Warre to discuss this aspect of the learning environment. That said, I cannot imagine a stronger 4K program. Our son's class has 8 students. It is very tightly structured and the children follow a set schedule each day. At the same time, the learning techniques are cutting edge: Handwriting without tears, contemporary reading instruction, etc. The teacher is warm, kind and fair; she is strict but loving, and the children (and parents) adore her without reservation. What I love most about Peace Lutheran's 4K is that, every day I drop my son off, and for three hours I never once worry about him. I know he is in a safe, loving environment that is preparing him both for academic success and for an upstanding, moral life. Another Mom and I have joked before that Peace Lutheran's motto should be: "School as you remember it." In the best possible sense.
