So far, so good, as a parent of a new kindergartner - and as a parent who follows local and school-wide events and news. We have had nothing but quick, courteous communication in response to concerns. Those with general concerns should seriously consider attending the PTO (CH BEST) meetings. They seem to be sparsely attended (other than by the PTO board/members and the principal/staff), so it is easier to have an impact and be heard than if dozens of parents showed up.

This school will be one of those on "seen on YouTube" schools real soon with the way some of these staff members bully the children and parents. The women outside morning and afternoon crossing the children, you have been recorded several times by more than one set of parents. It's only a matter of time before you're exposed on the Internet! Remember parents: Some of the worst bullies are the staff! Outdoor/park monitors, I hope you feel the shame when your sickening behavior is exposed to your boss and the world. These women are so inappropriate it's ridiculous they haven't been caught yet.

If you're coming to this school from out of state you should be prepared to be blown away. The teachers go above all expectations. One teacher would come and pick up my son before school and take him for extra reading help in 1st grade, she then became his 2nd grade teacher which allowed him to excel. That being said all schools in this district excel and so if you're coming from out of state you'll probably be behind the learning curve. This school has the added bonus of extra help to boost your child up to speed. The principal is kind and understanding also.
