Honestly, the front office Secretary is the absolute worst. The many times I have come into either drop my child off, pick them up, or just have general things to take care of, she looks like she hates her job. She is very condescending, impatient with the younger students, and just lacks any communication skills. I have contemplated removing my child from this school, just because of her. She is the first person, we as parents, see when we come in, and she does an incredible job of being unwelcoming. The cop at the school (Officer Franklin) is way too touchy-feely with the students. It’s concerning. Just listen to him speak and watch his actions. I’m shocked that these parents are so trusting with him…..

Crystal Lake Elementary school USED To be the school everyone wanted there child to go to. Unfortunately due to the principal and vice principal the moral of teachers has gone down tremendesly. Teachers and students used to walk around with smiles and now they all look like there in prison. It shocks me the administration have done nothing as the school used to be a an A rated school and now a C rated school. I have never seen a school go south so quickly and the towns administration leaving the Principal which everyone knows is the problem in place for her to continue ruin the future of the children of Martin County as well as the future of this once amazing school! It's a terrible shame. The students and teachers deserve so much more.
