Overall the school is not that good. I do not recommend your child there. The school was very stressful for me and my child. They do not know how to handle children appropriately and most of the kids do not get the proper or high standards of learning there.

Chipperfield has been amazing for my daughter. I am basing my next home search strictly within this school district just so my kids can continue going here. The new Principle and Vice Principle are the best the school has ever had. The teachers have done a marvelous job this year with all of the pandemic issues thrown their way. I could not be happier about our experience.

My son is in 4th grade now at SIES & LOVES IT ! He has the same teacher as last year, Mrs. Bozena (she looped) and she is OUTSTANDING !!!! I couldn't ask for a nicer, smarter and more knowledgeable teacher for my son. The school is safe & very attentive to every child's needs. My son has 21 kids in his class and they study the required curriculum and he also has really great specials such as swimming, music, art, computer lab, P.E, library and violin class. As a member of the PTA, I can help be a vital part of fundraising and assist with special events. My son is happy & is learning a great deal every day & that's all I require as a parent.

SIES is a very innovative school. The have a great team of staff members that form the Response to Intervention and Instruction Team (RTII). The team looks at the whole child,...academics, emotions, behaviors, and plan what teacher and interventions would work best. The teachers advise several after school fitness and socially-minded clubs. The arts and music programs are superb as is attested by the annual art show and 3rd and 4th grade concerts. The PTA also provides strong support and fundraising for valuable field trips.
