I can't say anything bad about the school, this school organized many events for kids and families, teachers care about students , feels like a big family

This school does nothing about bullying. Numerous instances of verbal AND physical bullying from kids and yet they are never punished. Not to mention inappropriate touching from some of these same kids to other children, and the issue is never resolved.The teachers are dismissive and do not understand empathy. Their idea of fixing the problem is ignoring the problem.

My son is in 2nd grade at Glenbrook, and my experience with the Principal, the teachers and staff has been very positive. They go out of their way to make sure that my son's needs are met and that he gets the support he needs. Every time I had a question it was answered quickly. The principal knows every child by name, she knows the parents and has been very responsive and helpful. Teachers have been wonderful as well. My son has some challenges so we had to work with outside therapist and he also commented that both the teacher and the principal were very willing to help, very engaged and go above and beyond.

I transferred my daughter here last year from a private school and I'm so glad I did. The staff are so nice, caring and dedicated to the students. I have nothing but positive experience dealing with the teachers, nurse and principal. Thanks you Glenbrook staff for your dedication and working so hard for the students especially during this pandemic.

Bad. Very institutional and the principal is condescending, uncaring, loud, unprofessional, unorganized and unwilling to listen to concerns.

The teachers go above and beyond to make sure the students achieve goals. The pta is strong and have great ideas for fundraising which helps with providing tools for the school to keep up the best as possible with technology. The principle devotes a lot of extra time and is there for all after school programs, activities, and pta meetings. All staff have an open door policy and when I have emailed teachers about a concern they respond within a day to the emails. Overall I have had a great experience at Glenbrook.

I am a parent that has been at the school for 6 years. I've never had a situation that was not taken care of immediately by the teacher and/or Principal. The Principal is approachable and knows every student by name. I am glad we went to Glenbrook (even over other schools in the area) and would recommend it.

Glenbrook has a very involved PTA which is strongly supported by the Principal and the Teachers. They all provide fun events for students and parents. They provide programs and supplies where U-46 fails to provide. The support staff are all friendly and genuinely concerned about the children and their well being. Most importantly because of the diligence of the Principal and her staff I feel my children are safe at the school.

This school has made my family feel very welcome. Everyone from the office staff, to the teachers, to the school librarians are always friendly and helpful. Any issues I have had have been dealt with quickly, fairly, and in a professional manner. The staff at Glenbrook really care about the students. All of my child's teachers have been wonderful. She has really loved all of them. Last year my family went through some changes and I was concerned about how my daughter was reacting to them. I contacted the school and was immediately put in touch with the school social worker who met with my daughter. I was impressed how quickly this was handled and I really appreciated the social worker keeping in touch with me.

Today our son was hit in the by another boy. My son's then bounced off a a wooden board. The principal took our son to her office and gave him a bag of ice. He sat in her office for an hour crying. He has a large bump on his head. She never took him to see the nurse. She never called us until 5pm. This incident happened at recess around noon. The other boy got a note sent to his parents to sign about the incident.

This school has been a tremendous educational institution for my 2 kids. Even though they are only in Kindergarten and First Grade I couldn't be happier with the dedication that is felt by all of the teachers and staff members. It is obvious that our principal has great leadership qualities that definately are carried through to the quality of education provided.

My son currently goes to glenbrook. This is his second year. I have been so disappointed in the class sizes, the resistance for early intervention for learning issues and lack of consistency in his teachers. His teacher's classroom looks like it shoukd be on an episode of hoarders, she does not allow parents to participate in class partiea and only communicates via notes in the assignment notebook. I had to call the principal in order to get a parent teacher conference scheduled. This will be his last year at this school. If you have a choice, do not send your kid to this school. It has been a nightmare.

Glenbrook is a really great school. My daughter went there for first grade after having went to a private school in kindergarten. She loves her school and so do I. The teachers, principal, and support staff are all very friendly and helpful. I love how many family activities there are, especially Family Fun Night. The only negative thing I can say is I wish there were more teachers and more parents attending the events. Other than that the school is a wonderful school. I can honestly say I prefer Glenbrook to my daughter's previous private school.
