They aren’t very good with working with children with special needs. I had to pull my child with special needs out but with other student it’s different just not good with special needs kids. Kid came home crying all the time.

Straight up amazing one of the friendliest environments I have known! And this is coming from a student!

We were so lucky to get in to Reagan Academy through the lottery system! My oldest started as a kindergartener and immediately I was excited to see his progress in reading as well as the other subjects! He comes home telling me all that they learned that day...many things I didn't remember learning growing up...and I love seeing his excitement! The teachers we've had thus far are fabulous and I just adore the staff! We have not had any issues and all I can do is say thank you for the amazing people who work there and care for our children! I even joined the Parent Volunteer Organization and I'm so glad to be a part of it! Hearing my families' experiences with their PTA makes me so grateful for the parents who are willing to volunteer throughout the year. The PVO puts on many great activities that give the students a chance to grow and show their many talents and abilities and get them motivated to succeed. I cannot say how much I love the learning structure of Reagan, and I'm assuming other charter schools! The structure is how "No Child Left Behind" SHOULD work! I LOVE REAGAN ACADEMY!

My family loves Reagan Academy. Two of my children attend there (1st and 2nd grade now) and each of their teachers, from the start, have been top-notch. The teachers care and are very good. The communication from teachers to parents is great. The leveling system is great. I have no complaints -- only praise.

This is our 3rd year at Reagan and I love the atmosphere! You can feel the difference just walking into the school. I love that the kids wear uniforms and it just seems that behavior of other students, is not a problem that keeps the other students from having a great experience. The staff and director are always around to answer questions, and I love that all students can learn on their own levels. The students change rooms for Math and Reading according to their individual levels. E-mail communication is used as the primary communications and all scores/ tests are on their website for parents to easily see. Love our experience so far, so glad we made the lottery!

My daughter (first grade) told me several times that her teacher yelled so much in the class that she is not comfortable going to the class. I brought it up to the principle. It took about 2weeks, but they were able to move her to the different class room.

I have had experience with three charter schools in the last 9 years. I have been heavily involved in educational politics for even longer. My children go to Reagan Academy because it helps them achieve their highest potential through inspiration and a positive atmosphere rather than militant discipline. I love it because it balances the charter school rigor with the positive aspects of a public school feel. Reagan Academy in Springville is the best charter school in the state.
