    Teachers and parents will have success improving student learning because our leadership is interested in "real change".We are working together and expecting positive results from all members of the Bowles community.

    My second graders grades have gone down significantly since attending Bowles in 2010. On the first day of school I clearly stated to admissions and to her teacher that she is to be bused to an afterschool program. They sent her on the regular school bus and dropped her off in the middle of downtown Springfield. The bus driver told her to walk home. Obviosly there was no one there to pick her up because she was supposed to go to the afterschool program. A complete stranger found her attempting to cross one of downtown Springfields busiest avenues.
