Terrible school… terrible principle and teachers are come and go… Zwink used to be a good school when first principle Ms. McGown was leading… since she left this school is downhill.

The school has been great for my child. The teachers and staff are always friendly and helpful. They always put the safety of the children as the first priority. The school is welcoming and friendly for the kids experience. I am able to communicate with the teacher effectively. I am very happy to have such a good experience for my child's early years of school.

Most of the children in my neighborhood are behind. I know this from talking to other parents who are all getting the same letters and having the same discussions with the teachers and school staff. It seems like they wait to tell you your child is behind when they hit third grade before they the standardized test are given. There is rarely any homework provided for the children so they leave it up to the parents to find and developed a routine for the children at home. There is no ISS for the students so if the give them in school suspension they just sit at a desk in the hall way of the office and there is no instructional time given to the student. There is a lot of moving students around to different teachers which doesn't help because the classrooms have to many students. There are so many issues that there isn't enough space of time to cover them all here.

They had to many teachers come and go. Great administration team but can not keep teachers for some reason.

I like the positive attitude at Zwink elementary. The teachers are very supportive. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

As an employee, I have seen amazing things happening with many of our students over the years! My son also attended Zwink the previous two years and as a parent I was very pleased with the academics, as well as how happy he was to be in such a loving, nurturing school. Being on both sides, I can honestly say we are truly blessed for the time he had here, as well as my great fortune to still come to such a wonderful place everyday and being able to help others achieve their goals on a daily basis! At Zwink, we use the "Nurtured Heart Approach" everyday, not only in our school, but in our family lives as well. It really has made a difference and I am so proud to be a Zwink Zebra!

This school is a high expectations, high support school. The faculty is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure student success. The faculty is so supportive of their students. Zwink has a wonderful faculty. They are always positive and encouraging with their students. Zwink is also very involved with the community offering Family Fun Nights, Prime Times and other community outreach programs. There is such positive energy all throughout the building each and every day.

Zwink Elementary is a wonderfully positive school and I consider myself blessed to have two children enrolled there. Zwink educators are constantly evaluating where children are, finding their academic strengths, and working tirelessly to address any academic gaps through innovative, engaging means. They also strive to re-engage academically strong students, spurring them toward even higher levels of achievement. Zwink educators also believe strongly in the role of character development as part of a child's education and they work each day to empower children to make the right choices, find their inner wealth as individuals, and strive toward greatness. Zwink is a gem of a school, with so much to offer the community and the children that are fortunate to be "Zwink Zebras".

Zwink is truly a GREAT school! Bullying is non-existent and the kids are actually helpful and kind to each other. It is a "No Place for Hate" school and the teachers do a fabulous job implementing the Nurtured Heart Approach which recognizes the greatness in each individual child. It is a beautiful school with wonderful resources (like the school garden, grade level collaborative learning areas, and the Science lab) which help facilitate student discovery and learning. Parents are welcome and involved in their child's education. The administrators are very approachable and supportive. I have taught at several good schools, but Zwink is the absolute best!

Zwink has a cohesive group of educators that thoughtfully prepare, care, and teach students with their future in mind. The students are encouraged to expand their minds and explore their gifts as individuals, while learning to collaborate well with everyone around them. Celebrations of individuals occur often and students are reminded of how valuable they are, and the character traits they possess that positively contribute to the school.

I am a teacher at Zwink, and I truly believe that there is not another school out there like this one. This is honestly the best school in the world. The teachers here are the hardest workers and will not give up until all of their students are successful. We utilize the Nurtured Heart Approach, and choose to focus on what is going right in the kids and in each other. The positive energy is contagious. We target our instruction such that some students are being retaught various concepts in small group, some are working on mastering the concepts taught, and others are working on enrichment concepts/activities. The administration is highly supportive, and our focus is always on the students. I could not be more honored to work at this school, and am excited that one day my child will get to go here as well! It is truly the "Disneyland" of schools.

My daughter has developed an amazing and unbelievable love for school since she first started attending Zwink a month ago. It is amazing how Zwink faculty members live, breathe and model their core values with "High expectations and high support"

Zwink is truly a step above the rest! The best thing about this school is that they use the Nurtured Heart Approach. This is an approach in which the teachers speak greatness into the students. It is a very positive atmosphere, and each and every student is valued. The school operates on a set of Core Values that I see my children reflecting in their daily lives even away from school. I know that my children are getting much more than strong academics when they come to school everyday; they are being built into problem solvers, scientists, authors, illustrators, friends, leaders, and most importantly, they believe that they can achieve anything! I LOVE this school, and I am so blessed that my children are able to be blessed by the teachers and staff at Zwink Elementary.

Zwink is an amazing campus to be apart of. The whole Zwink community truly encompasses our motto of "High Expectations...High Support, for EVERY child, EVERY day". The students are the center of everything at this campus. Positivity is at the forefront where each student is celebrated for all of their greatness. The Zwink staff sets clear expectations and guides their kids with a nurtured heart to obtain all goals and expectations. When you enter Zwink you become apart of a family. I couldn't imagine a better elementary school!

My child is a first grader at Zwink, last year in kindergarten she made a HUGE progress in her reading/writing skills. She just loves the school, all the emphasis they put on nurturing them on an everyday basis. The different programs they have to keep them engaged. I love also how even in first grade she can be part of different after school clubs. The parent communication is EXCELLENT as well. We can't imagine her attending any other school.
