Both of my kids really enjoyed going to school here, all of the staff was great. I loved that my kids didn't come home stressed from a day at school.

Poor administration will be the downfall for E P Todd School. The school has been in a downward spiral the last couple of years. Great teachers are leaving in mass. Parents of excellent students are using school choice to attend better schools in the district. The bad students are making it miserable for the remaining good students. The principal is beyond unapproachable and never seems to care what is really going on. She wants to LOOK LIKE she is doing something good. She does not have everyone fooled!!

I was very concerned about the lack of knowledge about special education and the law. I did like the specific program my child participated in but the school as a whole could improve by implementing evidenced based instruction and procedures to children who have special needs.

E.P. Todd has lived up to and beyond my expectations. I moved to Spartanburg from Atlanta 3 years ago and my Mom was always talking about E.P. Todd and how great a school it was. When I enrolled my granddaughter, my expectations were high. The school has proven to be a great decision. My granddaughter wakes up in the morning and is ready to go to school. She LOVES it. Its has a family atmosphere. We will surely miss Mr. Zachary when he leaves, however, I know that our new principal will carry on the legacy of the "Great Zachary". Mrs. Doctor is a fine lady. She and Mr. Zachary have always had our students best interest at heart and this trickles down to the teachers, parents and administrators alike. We all love this school. We are family. We support our students and always lift them up. At all parent/teacher conference nights and extracurriculum activities, the parking lot is always full. That is a sign of a loving and caring school. I love this school!!! I've been there since kindergarten. I've had some many favorite teachers I couldn't pick just one. I am an all A honor student because of them. I don't want to leave till I graduate in 8th grade.

My oldest daughter is in the 4th grade she has been going since the 5k !!! My baby girl is in 5k now!!! I love this school!!! The teachers are great!!! If u feel ur child need extra help in a subject they have a class could intervention. It gives them time during school hours to get extra help. They have a wonderful leader, Mr. Zachary!!! He can go against any principle and will win ur over!!! He knows all the kids names ,he is in and out of the class rooms . He even takes his time and write on a sticky note on 1st - 8 grade report card. To tell you how proud he is of a student accomplishment and what they need to improve in. It use to be 5k thur 6th but the district felt like he could handle 7&8 graders!!!!! He also has Missouri class 5k thur 5th grade !!! I hate we needed a extra room so we had to move out of the district. I am trying my best to keep my kids, because I will not find another school or principle like this !!!!

E P Todd is now an elementary/middle school serving K-8 and Montessori from 3K-5th now. I have been at EP Todd for... going on the 5th year now. I have a daughter who will be entering 8th grade and 2 (4&5) that will be in the Montessori program for kindergarten. The faculty and principal are wonderful! The principal makes a point to even learn all the children's names! E P Todd has such great standards for the children, they have just received the Palmetto Gold award again. This is a very culturally diverse school and has many extracurricular activities for the children. I am so very pleased to be in this district and be at this school. I won't move because of how wonderful this school is. Parents, teachers, vice principals, and the principal have a great relationship. I have not yet been to another school in the area that has as much parent/faculty interaction and I have been to 3 other schools around here with my oldest. I love this school and cannot praise it enough.
