I was a student at Lena and I can honestly say my experience was amazing but I liked our old principal better (Mr.Burt) he was so friendly and got involved with the students and how much fun their time at the school could be. Mrs Vickie was not a very good counselor on the other hand. She was rude to many parents and very impatient. The teachers were so nice and tried to help the students every chance they got especially Mr.Rivas and Mr.Sanderson but Mr.Sanderson sadly left but Lena was fun

Both of my kiddos attend this school and so far, it's been educational. The office staff is lacking compassion. I understand things can get stressful, I wouldn't want to deal with parents and kids all day. I'd lose it. That's why I've never applied for a job at a school. Vickie is a bit impatient and rude. I had to name drop there. She is also someone that stereotypes right off the bat. It's not wise in her position. She needs to get checked a little I think. Bullying. My son is a HUGE 5 year old. He looks like a healthy 7 year old. I believe this to be the reason behind some of the bullying. It was a rough first quarter, but things have been addressed and I have informed the school of my children and their skills in self-defense and that they are not discouraged to apply them when necessary. So far, the school has heard me and has done what has needed to be done to correct the situation. As for the teachers , both my children and we as parents just love them. They harness their strengths and encourage them in ways that have made me try new things at home. My kids love school and are thriving here now. I guess you could say, I am satisfied with this school. :)

The secretary is consistently rude, partially becauce the principal is too proud to admit the problem. Therefore she continues to be rude to many parents. Unbelieveable!

Honestly I couldnt say anything bad about this school. This is my sons first year in school. He absoultly loves his class and his teacher she is great. She has a great personality and is very patient with the kids. So far so good for us!

My child needs extra help with certain things, and is frequently a target of bullies due to this. The principal and WCSD only intervened after my child completely lost his temper with the other children. The teacher that he was placed with is terribly negative and only puts my child down. The principal was too proud to admit that he placed my child in a terrible environment and switch teachers, to everyone's detriment. People like him are one of the biggest problems with our school system.

this was my daughters first year in school, and unfortunately she was matched with a teacher with a really bad attitude. this teacher always complains about how many kids she has and loses patience with the kids over minor things like taking to long on a project, and will proceed to take away their recess for these minor things. my daughter hates school now, when once she use to be so excited.

This school is great! I love the staff, and their experience with education, and children. I have 4 kids that attend there, and they love it.
