We started at EDS Kindergarten year & are sadly moving states with my son finishing his 2nd grade year. I honestly can not say enough amazing things about this school, it is truly such a gem. Dr. Connett has done the best job shaping the school into such a nurturing and engaging environment for the kids. If you are looking for an elementary school in the area I can guarantee you this is the best one!

My children have been at EDS for 6 years. My oldest will be graduating at the end of this year, and my youngest has 3 years left. Truthfully, I never planned on sending my kids to private school, since both my husband and I attended public school. However, we couldn't be happier with our experience at EDS through the years. No, nothing is perfect (but what is?), and yes, the school has far exceeded our expectations. Our youngest was diagnosed with ADHD 2 years ago, and we have gotten great support working with the teachers, which I realize now, is one value of smaller class size. Each year, my kids say that their current teacher is their favorite. My highest praise, though, comes from the very odd experience of educating during the midst of Covid-19. This past Spring, EDS pulled off a HUGE and quick pivot to online learning, during which time my kids were actually taught during the day by their teachers through zoom. Yes, I had to manage the situation at home, but we would not have made it from March-May without the amazing job their teachers and the administration did to ensure that our kids continued to learn through the end of the school year. And more praise follows for how they have found a safe and effective way to begin this school year (Fall 2020) in person.

We've enjoyed our time at EDS thus far, as members of the Pre-K program. Our son has continued to flourish and we've noticed a remarkable improvement in his complex vocabulary and emotionally expression.

We love EDS. We have been at the school for 3 years..all of the teachers and staff love and truly care about every student. I have no worries or fears when my son is at school. Chapel is such a special time and parents are encouraged to attend with their child. If you have questions, teachers and staff are easily accessible. I can't say enough good things about EDS.

This is a warm and nurturing school with an amazing character education program based on the Fruit of the Spirit. The community is engaged and very welcoming of new families.

Episcopal Day School is an excellent school. I have had children from ages PreK 3s to 5th grade attend the school. The teachers are incredible. They do an excellent job of individualizing teaching and helping students learn and grow. Chapel is a very special time and has helped shape the hearts and minds of my children. We have had several great years at EDS.
