As a parent of both of special education student and a regular education student, I can honestly say I loved every minute of my kids’ experiences at Davis. Very caring and hardworking teachers and administrators, a great home and school association with awesome activities outside of school, and a clean, updated building.

Horrible, terrible, lack of respect, bad communication skills. Don’t send your child here!

Both of my daughters attend Davis Elementary, and I could not be happier or more satisfied with the school staff. The teachers my girls have had have been caring, compassionate, friendly, and supportive. The guidance counselors are also wonderful - very involved, very caring, and very supportive. The staff at the front desk is attentive, friendly, and helpful.

There is no effective leadership at this school. They are between principals right now and the vice principal is not an effective leader. I believe he lacks communication skills appropriate to whomever he is speaking to- students, staff, parents. There is not a teamwork atmosphere in the building- there are a lot of little cliques, which is very unprofessional. There are some good teachers there that your child would be lucky to get. There are also some teachers that I would never want my child in their class because they gossip, lack classroom mgmt., lower student self-esteem by talking down to students, & just complain all the time about their job. There is not much communication with support staff who aren't made to feel like they are as important as the faculty.

my school is awesome. I like the time I spent here. As time goes by my childhood memories will increase as so my vocabulary and learning skills improve. I hope to cherish what I have learned and continue the following year in academic studies.
