What an AMAZING public school. It’s nearly as good as a high-end private school. They are proactive in dealing with learning (and other) issues. A wonderful, compassionate community surrounds this gem. We had high expectations for this school and these have been surpassed.

This school has proven to be a fantastic example for other elementary schools! The children feel safe and comfortable to learn because they know all of their classmates and teachers. Smaller schools for smaller people is definitely the way to go and WES proves that for sure!

Great teachers with a genuine concern for each and every student. I have two sons in this school for the last two years, and can testify to the fantastic attitude of the teaching staff. Also if you child/children is/are musically inclined they have an excellent program. Exceptional students are also challenged in accelerated classes. Great PE program too. And the school has instituted a strong safety program! A new principal has been assigned in summer 2013 so I cannot provide a rating. Average class size is under 23 students too.

Small school- very involved school community- the children feel secure being in this smaller environment. Excellent teachers, highly recommend it -considered by some to be like a "private school"
