I have two children that attend this school and have been very pleased with their teachers. They are excited about going to school and are making leaps in their learning as I see the development demonstrated at home. While they enjoy the mix of art, music, and gym; their primary teachers are fantastic and they love them dearly. Additionally, the events they coordinate through the PTO are great for the community and bring the kids together. I am very happy with this school and would recommend.

A shame the taxes in Southampton are so outrageous and the ONE school available is such a disservice to the children it is supposed to be educating.

The teachers are mostly wonderful, minus a few that need more supervision to stop their in class temper tantrum’s, the leadership is not engaged, is rarely seen in the classrooms or by the students. Students run the school, very few expectations for their behavior or grades. The school psychologist is so by the book that she cannot differentiate for the needs of individual students, she can only reiterate what a book says on a subject matter. The school secretary is somehow the equivalent of an administrator and makes administrative decisions. Very bizarre small school with small school problems like mentioned above. Mainly people phoning it in & congratulating themselves for feeling important or having a title. I took my child out and have had a much better educational experience in a larger school setting that provides more oversight of leadership & requires principals to make decisions, not secretaries.

Teachers at this school are always willing to go above and beyond for their students. All students are included and supported. Parent involvement is fantastic! We love Norris School!
