If your child has a disability I would choose a completely different district. This school has rampant bullying issues that both admin and town police like to sweep under the rug.

My child's experience with this school involves teachers that don't like their jobs and go out of their way to target him and his disability. My child has been bullied and harassed by students and teachers. The principal will only listen to you if you have white children. The principal will not investigate claims properly and will lie about actual facts. This school does not accomidate 504 plans.

I'm a current student at mesms. And in the past 3 years I have gone to this school I have had multiple incidents with multiple students and teachers for a number of different reasons. Most popular reason being the teachers don't care, I've noticed when I ask for help with my mental health I never get a good suggestion, always has to do with talking with my mom. There have been multiple students who have made fun of the fact that my dad passed away in 2020. And when I tell these teachers about these issues it never seems to be solved. Not to mention I have felt like it is easier to try to deal with the problem myself then to wait months for the staff to somewhat help. In October of 2021 I was in 5th grade there was this kid who decided it would be a grand idea to touch multiple students inappropriately on the playground one day, me being one of those students I told the principal and the next day I sent a letter to the guidance office. The contacted my mom and we talked with the vice principal the next day. He asked about if anyone else might've saw what had happened, the other girls name. All that jazz, and I asked my friend who I mentioned to the vice principal of she talked to him yet she said no. I kept asking her till around December of 2021, every time I asked it was always a no. Untill she told me that she had seen the vice principal in June of 2022. I digress, this school is horrible. And I feel bad for every student who goes here.

this school is really bad with bullying ive witnessed multiple students getting bullied i am a past student/a student now in 2023 im a 5th grader and im already insanely regretting going here this year was horrible the office ladies do not listen to students at all unless your special needs then they go easy on you otherwise they wont listen they will yell at you and they wont hear you out they need to learn and give the students voices the students here are depressed and miserable i do not recommend this school and if you do go, do the after school programs they're worth it but also overpriced and could be a huge dissapointment its like a 50 50 chance, thank you for reading this and if you skipped just dont go here

I went here from grade 5-7. Horrible school, if I went on about everything I disliked I would be writing for hours.

I loved my experience at MESMS! I was a student there for all the grades and just graduated 8th grade this past school year. The teachers are helpful, challenge you to learn, and are great in general. The community is also supportive and I'm glad I was a student here.
