I was a student in the early 1960's and I was anything but a "good" student. My impulsive and somewhat ADHD personality often placed me at odds with the school authorities; but everyone at this school encouraged me to study and foster a love of learning. I was appointed to the US Military Academy at West Point in 1973 and recently retired after an interesting career: flew as a pilot in several conflicts/wars, got a medical degree and practiced for 30years. I could not have done any of this unless my teachers at Streiber had taken an interest in me and helped me develop good study habits and to control my impulsive behavior. Streiber was a special place for me.

Streiber is a fabulous school! I have two children who attended Streiber and they completely loved it. The teachers and staff were very welcoming, kind, and you felt they cared about your children. There was never a day when my children said they didn't want to go to school and they very much enjoyed it there. The Principal and Vice Principal were great. The school and PTO organizes lots of fun events for the kids as well as evening events where families can connect to create a sense of community. The communication and explanation of school requirements, daily schedules and routines were exceptional. We very much enjoy our time at this school.
