Our daughter absolutely loved being at this school! She loved the teachers especially, they supported her, introduced her to a variety of hands on sciences, life lab, art and crafts and applied social studies and geography. She still knows her geography just from her time spent at the elementary grades. Highly recommend this school especially if your child lives being outdoors and exploring.

Both of my children attended Tara Redwood School starting at age 2 in the preschool program. I love the Creating Compassionate Cultures Curriculum, and the focus in teaching my kids to emotional regulation and mindfulness. Very strong academics, art, exploration based learning and fabulous music program. The Redwood Campus is exquisite and one of a kind- all the kids love the magical "Big Playground". The teachers are kind and engaged. I know every day when I drop them off that they are receiving the best care and education possible. Extremely happy to have my children at Tara Redwood School.

Amazing! My kid absolutely loves it. Her community is an extension of family. She has learned about empathy,patience and being able to communicate with kids of every age.

Our child has been at Tara Redwood since preschool and, now in 3rd grade, continues to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. He is challenged, stimulated, is excited to learn and to collaborate. He has built wonderful friendships, loves the hikes in the woods and comes home happy. We are having a truly special and nurturing experience here.

This is our second year at Tara Redwood, and we couldn't be happier about the community here that welcomed us. My daughter is thriving inside and outside the classroom and with her classmates and amazing teacher Namasya. If you're looking for a kindness-centered curriculum for your little one, this is the place. Direct quote from my 5-year old daughter last week after school: "Mama, it's really important to have compassion with each other and compromise."

The Essential Education Program as well as the extremely dedicated and enthusiastic teachers provide an outstanding school experience. Our child loves this school and we enjoy being part of the Tara community.

Although we love the Montessori philosophy, there is a lack of excitement here among a few of the teachers and my child seems bored and generally is not excited about going to school. The classrooms are a bit bare and the tteachers are never very excited to see the children when you come in in the morning. The most notable positive aspect of this school is the academic curriculum, my child has developed academically.
