This school failed me. Most of the good staff left bc this school is a burning dumpster fire and those stink so why stay.

I would say Smithton is an above average school for a 2A school. Like Tyler pointed out, Smithton has a number of extracurricular activities in sports like Men's: Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, and Track and Women's: Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Track. They also have numerous clubs like Math Club (SMASH), FBLA (Businesses), Marching Band, Choir, Academic Team, FFA, FCCLA, STUCO, Stream's Team, and Speech when I went there and graduated in 2007. I wouldn't say the "school is for farmers" and " about only 15% of the students went on to college" is false. I graduated in the class of 2007 and 19/29 of the people I keep in contact with in this class has gone on to college and my class graduated 52. If you are looking for a football school, Smithton may not be for you, but the teachers and the students are on par or better than schools in the state of Missouri.
