I couldn’t think of a better place that would prepare me for my future

Although the counseling ladies do a wonderful job and there are a few good teachers. There are several that pick favorites among the children, they do NOT treat the kids fairly. The science teacher showed a few videos of animals being slaughtered with a vegan student present. They students weren't offered an alternative. Some of the other kids in the class actually tormented other students that were bothered by the videos, saying such things like "yum, I love horse meat". One boy even took a video on my daughter's phone flipping her off and saying he "hates her". This all happened with two teachers in the room!! The Ag welding teacher actually discriminated against my daughter and a few other students that couldn't pay the high shop fee. He would publicly humiliate these students in front of the others about not paying it. There is quite a few kids that have either dropped out or moved to other schools due to Simm's mounting problems. Speaking with the Superintendent about these matters really gets a person no where, the teachers are allowed to continue with their unprofessional, offensive behaviors. My daughter will be going elsewhere next year!

The faculty of this school are mediocre to say the least , however there are some teachers that really do try and care but the bad out-numbers the good. There is no school spirit and the atmosphere in the school is negative. The principal is biased and treats the kids badly. If you are considering Simms, I'm warning you, it's not good, send your kids to Fairfield or Augusta or Great Falls High or CMR or ANY other school.
