My three children have all loved their time at Highland. They connected with their teachers and other staff in ways that I don't see at other schools. Not only were they academically challenged, but they were given opportunities for growth in other ways as well.

The Highland staff is wonderful. Teachers and staff know all the kids personally. The principal and teachers have an open door policy. Any issues are addressed immediately. When I pick up or drop off my children I often pop my head in the class or chat with the teacher about how my child did that day. Definitely a lot of communication with the school. The low student to teacher ratio makes gives each student more individual attention. It allows the teacher to accomodate and help both advanced learners and those needing a luttle more help.

This School is Just as wonderful as when I attended. The staff is very helpful and let us parents know what is going on at all times with the academic progress of the students.

The teachers and staff are fantastic! Just a few years ago, this school was headed for 'corrective action.' They are now a Blue Ribbon School!
