My daughter loves Bethany Christian School! The staff is caring and is nurturing. We love how it is deeply rooted in the faith and applying it into education and ethics.

We love Bethany! This is our 3rd year at Bethany Christian and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. My kids THRIVE here. The teachers and staff go above and beyond and Jesus literally shines through each and every one of them. My older son's reading level is many grades ahead, all thanks to his teachers and the curriculum. They offer music, art, P.E., Spanish, and a wonderful STEAM program. They also have after-school athletics for the higher grades. It's in the heart of the Sierra Madre, within walking distance to so many cute food places for early release or after drop-off.

Bethany School is a wonderful, Christian School in the heart of Sierra Madre. My son has been at the school 2 years so far (for 3rd and 4th grades) and it has been a great experience for him. There are warm, caring teachers- like Mrs. Howe and Mr. Northrup that make the students feel special and happy to go to school. Dr. Walner is a terrific Principal and greets all the students by their names. Students attend a weekly chapel, which they enjoy with lots of singing and music. Mr. Northrup is a gem and teaches both Spanish and Music to all the grades. My son is doing well and is testing above grade level. I am very impressed by this school and look forward to the next years there.

My daughter graduated from Bethany and she was so prepared for high school in all aspects, she learned so much but most important the spiritual aspect. She often says I learned it at Bethany, We love Bethany ! It’s a great school

I am so glad we found Bethany Christian! My child absolutely loves it and never wants to leave. It really is like a family and I could not be happier with the staff and faculty. They provide an amazing faith-based education for the students. It is definitely a school worth touring if you're in search of a safe, fun, caring school for your child.

This school provides that best in overall education that is filled with Christian love. From the administration to the support staff the dedication to the children for their growth and overall excellent education is strongly evident.

I'm so glad we found Bethany Christian! It's quickly becoming like family to us. My 3 children began attending this year (preschool and elementary), and they are so happy every day when I drop them off and pick them up. They love the structure, they love the warmth that the entire staff exudes, they love all of the family events (Harvest Festival, Grandparents Day, Christmas program, etc.) They love the enrichment classes like art, music and language. The homework is very manageable, and the staff are very professional, and will work with families as much as possible depending on their child's needs. I have seen my children academically progress with the consistency and content of the curriculum. The principal is an amazing and gifted leader. I see him out and about on campus nearly every day. He is very much involved in nurturing and positively influencing the students, as well as the staff. The parent involvement is through the roof. Most importantly, the school is reinforcing our Christian values in a way that is very genuine, and not trite or shallow. It is apparent that the staff and teachers love the Lord Jesus, and purpose to love and lead the children throughout the day. It is really hard to put into words all that Bethany is. Set-up a tour and give it a look, you might be surprised at what you find. I homeschooled them last year, and prior to that they attended a different Christian school, as well as a charter school. I have a lot to compare it with, and my past experiences have brought me to a place of humility where I can overlook some of the imperfections, because no school is perfect, just like no person is perfect, and the school is made up of a bunch of people, my own children included!! Our expectations have been exceeded, and I'm excited to get more and more involved in my children's education at Bethany.

We've been here for over 5 years and we love it. Bethany has put the love of reading and learning in my kids. Very warm and Godly environment. My kids are happy every time I pick them up from school. Small class numbers for great personal attention from the teachers. I'm here to stay until they graduate 8th grade. The administration and teachers are truly Christian. I only wish they had a high school so my kids can stay here after 8th grade.

We left PUSD 3 years ago and have not looked back. Best choice we could have made for our son. Great caring staff, small class size, diverse student population, newly remodeled daycare area and family involvement is welcomed.

Being a part of BCS internally allows me to speak about the nurturing heart and intentional manner in which BCS's staff truly lives out daily our distinctives of exemplifying Christian-character, providing academic excellence, and developing servant leadership. I so enjoy coming to work each day knowing I get to collaborate with a supportive administrative team, teachers, and support staff. If my children were still school age, I would send them to Bethany Christian.

Great for preschool. My son started this year in preschool and he is 2 years old. It's a small group and the teachers are great and loving. He's loves his teacher, Miss Elliot, she great with the kids. All staff are kind and friendly and are always there to answer my questions. I love the preschool program.

Christian caring? Forget it. Rules on every little thing? You bet! New principal, but same old problems (see ratings from early 2014 below).

Sent my child there this year for TK. He had the pleasure of having Mrs. Fenwick and Mrs. Copti. I can't say enough great things about the way they ran their classroom and the knowledge my son gained. It was fantastic!!

The preschool lacks professionalism and has archaic practices. They do not know child development. They do not practice wag they preach about Christian values. Do not send your kid to this school.

This is the worst school you could send a child rothere teachers are moody lunches are terrible and they have horible dress codes

I love Bethany Christian School. It's like a family at my school. Everyone knows eachother, watches out for eachother and truly cares about one another. The teachers are wonderful! I have had such great teachers who want you to succeed and make sure if they have to stay afterschool to help, thats exactly what they will do. They have been supportive, loving, and encouraging. I have been at Bethany for four years now and though I look forward to graduation, I will always have wonderful memories of the school.
