I know first hand because my children went here for a year. This school wasn’t close to being good at teaching them writing skills. Horrible I sent them to a different school.

Administration is not supportive and unkind. Materials are out dated, very little time given to let kids get their energy out. Kids are expected to sit and be quiet. If your child is ahead, teachers expect your child to stay at the same level as everyone else in the class.

Teachers only care about the popular children or children of other teachers. Bullying is widespread and accepted by the staff. No one cares unless your child fails a class because it makes the school look bad, otherwise mediocrity is encouraged.

This school is horrible with helping my child learn my child came home in tears today because of the lack of communication from teacher to child. And the principal is all about her power trips. Don’t sent your child here.

It's no wonder that this school is rated at only 17% at helping students with disabilities succeed, and the state average is 22%. Because they DON'T CARE. We had to involve mediators to force them to respond with an appropriate AEP for our daughter with Autism. And the worst offender was the woman whose job it was to oversee children with Special Needs! We won't forget her response..."What do you expect us to do? Make friends for your daughter"?! Rude and totally unprofessional. And the response to that sarcastic question was "YES". It's called "socialization skills". After this encounter, even the Principal snubbed my daughter at a school event. No wonder though... it's the snobby, spoiled, and entitled attitudes of the young moms and staff from the Medford area.

I can honestly say that we love this school and are so happy we decided to move to Shamong last summer. Our son has learned and grown so much from their program.
