This school is a horrible place. They fully support bullying from students to teachers to the principal. Only the kids who are athletes matter here. My daughter has been bullied and humiliated nearly every day for 3 years. My daughter has good grades but that doesn't matter she is excluded from activities. Even the principal makes fun of her. It has gotten so bad she has started having seizures. We are now looking into switching her to a different school or going to home school. And the bus driver/ teachers don't have to follow any driver safety laws they do as they want, even if it hurts the children on the bus. The driver careless and slam on breaks to throw the kids down. And my daughters driver fines it funny to run off the road to hit animals on the side of the road, and then brags about it in class. This place is a nightmare.

I love that my two boys are attending Macedonia School. They have nothing but love and support from all the faculty and staff there. The Principal is the most supportive and patient person with the students. He is not fast to judge any situation and listens to what the children tell him. The teacher here are excellent at their jobs and are always looking for news ways to improve their students math and reading skills. Not only does this school provide excellent educational services but they provide support and love that all students need in order to feel safe and loved while they are there. I would recommend sending your child here.

I feel like all of the staff, including the principal, secretary and all of the teachers care about each and every student there. They go over and beyond their duty and title to teach the "whole" child. They all work together for the good of the school and the community. They give extra help to those who are struggling, as well as challenge those who are gifted. They strive to be part of the community and their students' lives outside of school by attending ballgames and other community events. It is an all around wonderful school, staff, and atmosphere.

Macedonia School is a great school! Has a family environment. All the teachers and staff are friendly and willing to help in any way. My children love each of the teachers and are very fond of the principal. The best principal in Jackson County. He is very involved with our children and their education. I would not want my kids at any other school! Thank you Macedonia School!

Macedonia delivers poor quality education to children. My three children have attended this school for years and have continuously been subjected to teachers not wanting to perform their job. Distributing homework sheets and telling children to "just do them" is not teaching. Not only is racism still alive and well in the school, but bullying is also a huge issue that those in charge do NOTHING to prevent or stop. Unfortunately, children are subjected to bullying from other kids as well as TEACHERS, who encourage bullying and/or participate in bullying themselves. The schools primary focus is on sports and not on educating the future leaders of this country. Bus drivers for this school have a record of reckless driving and believe it to be acceptable to slam on the brakes as a method of getting children to sit down. There have been numerous times that children have flipped over seats, fallen down, and/or hit their heads because of bus drivers doing this. Despite numerous reports made to the principal, nothing happens to these teachers or bus drivers. If you value your child's education do not send them to this school!!
