I had 2 kids enrolled here for what would of been 5 years this august. One in which is special needs, she has a 10 am late start IF NEEDED for her epilepsy plus documentation from her. Nurologist stating she has hard to control intractable seizures mainly active in the morning time so IF she misses school due to her epilepsy it was to be excused. I ALWAYS communicated with her teacher through remind and would call the office with any information keeping them up to date on how she was etc if she was absent. She has a IEP with conditions, I myself go out of my way to have her evaluated yearly to stay up to date with her IQ score, memory, best learning suggestions from her nurophyologist so that her teachers and I are able to co-teach my oldest. It's took me about 2 years to finally get her in the special education classes she needed to help her learn at her Level as well as ice always been overly communicating to instructors to let me know anything I may could help her with to help them as well. Well going into 7th grade this past school year my husband and I put our youngest daughter in K12 homeschool due to some personal family issues so she could continue to learn yet not somehow bring her issues to the school and disrupt surrounding students. As I am withdrawing my youngest in the elementary (totally separate building and administration from my oldest) the elementary principal for some spiteful, pot stirring, for her own selfish and personal issues with me for whatever reason decided to question about my oldest whom was gonna continue staying at Geraldine. My thought was this has nothing to do with that child. There is this atmosphere of bias, judgmental, personal vindictive motives towards the parents that aren't brown nosing or the non booster parents.. the parents that actually stand up n don't look other directions. The high school principal actually stated we will revisit the out of district parts of this in may because I don't know that she's going be able to continue.. now I drive round trip weekly 440 miles to ensure my daughter is getting the education that benefits her so not surprised to find out she isn't gonna be able to attend in August!! Why would a teacher of Any level of education feel it's ok to disrupt routine and cause any child to have to move to an New atmosphere where her routine and specific techniques have to be relearn and her have to spend atleast a year getting in a new routine.. it's fine cause I relocated to keep her here

I don’t believe the principal is equipping these children for college readiness. I also believe that the principal is overlooking some concerning behaviors of certain teachers. I’ve seen pictures of a classroom and I hate that they’re are having to learn under those conditions.

Geraldine We need a new head baseball coach.This one is a disgrace to the community. and the school.

I love this school. Parents are encouraged to be involved. Teachers are awesome as well as the staff and principal.
