Students are pretty much on their own watching and learning from video class while in class. The school dosent communicate with parents until tuition is due. I think they mean well but they are very disorganized and the school is in a run down trailer. I have only ever sen 1 or 2 teachers there and that is the husband and wife team that run the school.

I love this school. Caring, loving, interactive teachers whom I trust with my children.

I took my daughter to public school for one day after moving to Sebastian. I knew immediatly public school, is not a place for my child to be. She has such a rich growing mind and heart, and needed to be somewhere she could excel and learn and love. Crosstyle Academy brought my daughter in immediately, and has been such a wonderful support for her growth and my family. I am very blessed to have my little girl in a place that holds students to a higher standard, and teaches and loves with the glory of Jesus.

This school is fantastic! I never have to question how my child is doing in school because they communicate with parents on a regular basis regarding our children's strengths and weaknesses. This school is very family oriented and provides a loving family environment to the kids in their care. Truly, this school is wonderful.

This is my child's third year in this school and I have to say that I could not be more pleased. This is this is the closest thing to homeschool without actually homeschooling. In addition to the teachers, there are parents and relatives that volunteer to help within the school. Unlike other schools, students have the opportunity for one-on-one help so that they fully understand their assignments. I love that the kids have recess everyday and that they interact with each other and have the opportunity to help each other. They are taught values, morals, manners, and the teachings of our Lord. Pastor John and Miss Alicia treat all students as family and create a loving environment for the children. They go out of their way to help parents and accommodate parents' schedules. They really are wonderful. I would highly recommend Crosstyle Academy for your child!

This school claims to be "christian" based, sure there are biblical teaching's but the people teaching these biblcal things do not stand by what they say. I was a student at this school for 2 years I have been "picked on" by the teachers because they do not believe that kids our age should have relationships. I do not believe that the "teachers" here have a real teaching degree because when asked for help it was never recieved instead I was yelled at because I couldn't understand it. There rules are not held up to a proper standard as one student may do something wrong and not get punished but another does the same thing and gets punished. Students are favored and if you are not favored you get tossed to the side and critized for every little thing you do. Also the languages offered (spanish), the teachers do not know, we found this out when the school year was almost over. I and another student were told that if we were not liked our grades could be altered in any way they wanted to. I do not suggest this school to anyone who expects a good guality education.

This is a school for the extremely independent child, the reason I say that is that their teacher is actually on the videos that the children watch all day. They are not permitted to speak to each other, their job is to get their videos completed. The person who is in the room (you'd like to think was a teacher) is a paper passer, meaning she passes out papers, collects them then passes them back out again. Not much real interaction with the children. Curriculum is of good quality the only problem is that if a child doesn't get what is being taught that day they don't get help figuring it out because the next day they have to get the next video done. This has the potential of being an amazing school if only the paper passer would learn to be more Christ like and love all the children as they are, faults and all. Children NEED love and encouragement. This school is not much better than a public school:( Why pay for something you already get for free? Public schools have over 500 students this school only had about 17 this year. And that number dropped before the end of the year. What does that tell you? Think very hard before putting your child in this school.

I love this school. My children have attended for 4 years. The class sizes are small giving the ability to pay special attention to student needs. The curriculum is challenging and Bible based with a Christian worldview, which is my main priority.
