The classes are too big, they shouldn’t exceed 10 per class, I was in a class of 22. They used to get me in trouble and send me home for nothing. Some staff were bad, not supporting freedom to choose field trips or not. Some staff raise their voice. Some were decent. I wanted to be treated as a adult and they said no. They would not let me do certain things because I was 11 when I left. 9 out of 10 Would Not Recommend.

I never went to Glen Worden, but a lot of my friends did and so did my little sister. In fact, my sister enjoyed her time at this school. It's a loving and caring place with great people, I'd recommend it.

I transferred into Glen-Worden in 6th grade back when 6th Grade was in elementary schools (1996). It was a tough adjustment at that age but Glen-Worden was caring. Always concern with how I felt and if I was comfortable. They gave me a peer guide as well as tours from various teachers. They made sure I was comfortable even before the first day of school. They made sure I attended the 6th grade "before school" picnic with my parents. It is a giving school with great educators; who made sure you felt welcomed.

I just wish they didn't have to be involved in NYS standardized testing. Great school apart from that!
