    Elementary school changed my child’s mind about school. We moved from New Hartford and even though they were great, my son felt more comfortable, welcomed and accepted in Sauquoit school. From the secretary to the principal, the staff are the sweetest.

    This school is amazing! All of the staff care tremendously for the students and each other. They go out of their way to incorporate the community and have a wonderful school/ home relationship that they foster. The principal, Mr. Putnam, is outstanding. He knows every child by name and what they are into. He is present at every school activity in and out of the school building. The entire staff are like a giant family and everyone is welcomed with open arms. When we had to shut down because of Covid-19, Sauquoit got a jumpstart on virtual learning, made sure each student had what they needed, and teachers went out of their way to stay connected and help the students with the work and transition. They provided educational and emotional support as best as they were capable.
