  In my experience, this school has done very little to educate me and others like me, as well as discouraging students from seeking harder learning styles or even forcing people into easier classes that are below their level. In addition, most of the classes are taught by people with the bare minimum college requirements in order to be teachers, and more often than not, side staff with nothing other than a high school diploma get to teach a subject they have no knowledge of. Even worse still is that if you question this or maybe have dissenting opinions from your educators and the "support team" they will often personally attack you or even prevent you from learning entirely by locking you in rooms for "disrupting the group". ...More Reviews

  This school is geared towards Aspergers children and not towards children with classic autism. My son can read, write, do multiplication, and still didn't succeed at Anova and we were told it wasn't an apprpriate placement after a short time there. If your child is very high functioning then it could work for your child. It's a very hands off school, no day to day parent involvement encouraged. I have heard mixed reviews from other parents, some parents with higher functioing children felt it was a good placement, and some parents were frustrated with their experience.
