I am a very involved parent who demands excellence from my son and from his school. The teachers here are top quality. I don't understand why some rate it as less. I wonder if other parents actually know just how hard these teachers work and how amazingly intelligent, hard-working, and thoughtful each of them really is. My son is in the dual-language program and is excelling not only in his first language, but also in Spanish, which he had no previous experience with. His teachers have always been very aware of his abilities and those of other students and work toward creating a meaningful education for all. I am thoroughly impressed with this school for many reasons.

The test scores for this year says it all! I am hoping the new superintendent will come in and make necessary changes (wishful thinking). Amy Biehl and Pinon (nearby schools) have consistently shown better test scores but it is so hard to get your students a lottery transfer. That is why so many parents lie about their address. All I can do is be proactive with my student/Child and hope that we get the lottery transfer soon.
