I've had my 3 oldest at this school. I love it here. Teachers are great. My kids loved their elective options. Also I believe it's the last middle school with the dual immersion program aside from the other K-8 schools. My kids are mixed and I haven't had issues with any of them.

This school is not diverse and it’s sad. My family had an horrible experience at this school and until this day I am traumatized. My daughter was the only black girl in the 3rd grade. She experienced bullying from staff’s and students. Staff would take pictures of her while on punishment and send it to other staff members. Principal did nothing but asked staff to delete and after they deleted had that staff member go to the police department and show them their phone. Teachers in the classroom would punish my child for every little thing she did. To the point where the students started to watch her and tell the staff and teacher everything she does. When my daughter reported other students calling her names she was told by teachers “mind her business”. The last three days of school three different boys students attacked her each day and the school did nothing. We had to remove my child from the school.THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE FOR BLACK CHILDREN.

My child has been at this school for only 4months. I kid you not. She’s being bullied by the staff and administration it has gotten so bad the kids in her class has joined in. Kid you not she had to switch her class schedule in January 2023. Which did not help because the only have two teachers for 3rd grade. Oddly they have the kids splitting their time with both teachers. She has been followed around school and the playground. The staff has confirmed that they take pictures of her on their personal while she sit on timeout. They also confirmed that they texted these pictures to other staff members. The problem is I opted out of taking pictures or recording my child. When I called them out on it they said oh next time we won’t do it. No one has apologized or assured us that she is safe.

There are a lot of great programs for students as well as after school opportunities.

i have been a student at McFadden intermediate school for almost three years now i must say this school is such a great choice if it has bad reputation of some sort i am against it most of the students here are well working students who do care about there school and their education. but there are others who don't care about anything even though saying this McFadden intermediate school is a wonderful school i would give it 9 out of 10 stars.. and that is only because of the uniforms we need freedom and self expression with our uniforms. this school has excellent teachers, a strong principal, and challenging academic programs.
