Esta escuela merece 5 estrellas, es excelente en todos sus aspectos. Mi hija odiaba faltar un día a clases ya que le encantaba y disfrutaba estudiar allí.

We have multiple kids at Wilson. I can only speak highly about the teachers, aftercare, and the school. Every teacher has been kind and genuinely cared about our kids and their learning. The aftercare is spectacular, the kids love it, and it is always organized when picking the kids up. I would highly recommend Wilson to anyone thinking about placing their kid here.

This school treats students with autism horribly. I regret that my child attended this school. They will make your life miserable if your child isn't either perfect or heavily medicated so that they can ignore them.

Horrible. I would never advice a parent to send their beautiful black, other culture, or if you were a family in need to send you children to that school

If your child has Autism (High Functioning), this is not the school for him. My son attended Wilson for three years. My son fell through the cracks and this school failed him. I thought I was a patient parent with the hopes that the following years would be different. But no luck.I was very disappointed with the administration and their inability to properly assist kids with special needs. Sometimes my son was being seen and other times not. They didn't collect data about his progress. When you try to get assertive with the school, they bombard you with excuses of all the things the school was going through and other students were more important than my son's education.. As a parent, I've volunteered, gave countless amount of money to all their fundraising and abide by all their strict rules and regulations and still my son didn't get any support and still failed. He was being overlooked and pushed to the back burner. They strictly teach to the test and do not implement accommodations or be creative with their teachings in order for there students to catch up. At the end of the year, they asked to update his IEP with a document that I had to come in and sign, instead of a meeting at the school, which by the way is how IEP meetings usually work.

My daughter went to Wilson Elementary for Kindergarten and her positive experience with her teachers and throughout the year will be a foundation for years to come . She loves school and the self confidence she developed there is priceless . We had to move to another city because of work ,but had we not ,she would definetely be still at Wilson . We both love this school!

Both of my children have thrived at Wilson. Great feel to it. The teachers and staff really care for the children. the PTA and individual parents are really involved which makes a difference.

My son attended Wilson for one year. I was very disappointed with the administration and their inability to properly assist kids with special needs (speech and language disabilities). I was told my son received speech therapy 3 times a week but was not able to meet with the speech therapist even once throughout the year to learn about his progress. At the end of the year, she asked to update his IEP with me over the phone in lieu of a meeting at the school which is how IEP meetings usually work. The guidance counselor is not much better. She takes a very long time to return phone calls to parents (if she returns it them all). If you need IEP related services, I would not recommend this school at all. In my experience, the staff at Crystal Lake Elementary is much better at addressing these.
