This school seems to have more substitute teachers than full time. The subs don't seem to care that the students are using their phones to Google answers during tests. The administration brags about the school's improvement in testing results in the last couple years, most likely due to this. Horrible school.

Being in this school is disgusting. Nobody ever watches the kids out in the halls many reports form students say, "Someone was vaping" or "There is a fight. ". Overall, this school is a good school with nice programs also with a clean hallway and I can't believe that nobody wants to work there because of some kids not to be rude but there are too many rumors, and the victim is always getting in trouble for false info. - A kid from 2023-2024

Terrible. Everybody is so fake and rude. I would NOT recommend it. There is a fight almost every day, and the kids are so petty. The teachers don't care about you, and don't tell you what you need to do.

Teachers don’t care about students. Fights happen almost everyday.

As a result of the magnet program my daughter attended 2016-2017 school year and she will NOT be attending next year. We have had multiple bullying incidents and although they were handled by administration my daughter did not feel safe or welcome by the students she had to deal with daily. Being white, she was in the minority at this school and felt racially profiled and picked on for that reason specifically by many kids. She also felt that she was discriminated against and overlooked in sports by the coaches for the same reason on a regular basis. There were multiple security incidents during the year as well as a red code lockdown from a shooting incident at the high school next door. The school is in a HIGH crime area and safety IS an issue as a result! I did not understand why the government placed ALL the magnet schools in high crime neighborhoods. It's ridiculous! I would not recommend this school!

I am a former student of MMS and can honestly say that I miss going to school here. I'm currently a senior in high school and nothing can compare to the time I spent at Millennium. The IB program set me up for high school, so far it's been a breeze. The performing art programs (I was actively involved in orchestra and drama) are unique and one of a kind. You can't find any other school to compare. The teachers are very dedicated and involved with their students. After three years of not being at MMS, I can honestly say that I miss it and wish my high school would have the positive atmosphere that MMS possesses. The friendships I made here with students and teachers have kept intact. They're all still involved in me life to this day. ~VS

Millennium middle school, parents from altamonte spring's Florida.we love that our daughter loves the school.she has been doing awesome and I love how the teachers communicate with me by email.they will all let me know if something not right. I dont like it that its a little bit far. But our daughter is doing awesome and now when in the track team. We was thinking of changing her to rock lake. But after reading their review's, wr aren't changing her. She has one more year left..

My daughter doesn't feel safe in this school. It's a shame because we like the programs, but there is a lot bullying on campus. When I am at the car line I see the groups of men that use the school as a shortcut from one side of the neighborhood to the other side and the go shirtless with their bodies full of tattoos I just lock my car and think if they can trespass to the classrooms since they are already inside the school The students use a lot of profanities and my daughter already witnessed a lot of fightings. Again, they have good programs, but it is not safe :(

I go to this school now and i strongly dislike it. One time at lunch we were on silent and if you talk then would be sent to IS. IS is the coldest building in the room! And if you think the schools cold then you will hate IS.

I went to school here for 6th&7th grade and I will not be attending school here for 8th grade...I had wonderful teachers both years but I got bullied a lot in 7th grade and I was at the point where I was to scared to go to school..I had never been bullied before this school and the school didn't proceed to do anything about it

My daughter attended the pre-IB program for 6th and 7th grade. Overall my daughter and I feel she was given an excellent education, the teachers do give a lot of homework, but they were always reasonable with due dates and makeup, also they had an excellent keyboarding program which she played piano and became very good at it. We've since moved away and my daughter attended a different school for 8th. She has definitely missed Millennium and often reminisces of it, 8th grade has been a breeze at her new school because of Millennium.
