I have three kids attending Meadow Heights and have been a part of the school community for six years. We are so lucky to have this amazing school in our district. Do not be deterred by the biased school scores, they do not represent the actual experience of students at this school. Meadow Heights has amazing teachers and staff along with a positive and supportive learning environment. Beresford park, directly across the street, provides the perfect after school social space. The school also has an Annex after school program and Beresford Rec Center also offers after school pick up and care.

Our daughter moved from Foster City Elementary to Meadow Heights this year. She absolutely loves it. The school is small and more diverse, which is great for us. Teachers, staff and other parents are very engage on helping kids be successful. The new principal has been great at communicating, listening and asking for input from the community on how to keep improving our school. My child is creating lifelong connections and making friends with kids from our new neighborhood.

Outstanding group of teachers, no weak links. The school is a nice, small size. Great group of local parents. Previous principal was here 9 years, and was great (she continues to work for the district); her replacement comes with great reviews. Parents from nearby districts often transfer in to Meadow. Very good facilities also, and a new building is on the way. I have two kids here, K and 3rd, and I think it's great that my kids are getting experience with the real world, not only children from wealthy families. I do not feel like my kids are shortchanged in any way.

Between the students, principal, staff, and parents, I feel like this is a very strong school community. The PTA is very active in providing volunteers, enrichment, and fundraising to support programs at the school. There is very low teacher turnover at the school, which is a good sign of a positive work environment with dedicated teachers. I am very happy with my son's experience at the school, and look forward to sending my daughter here when she is older.

As a parent of two children attending Meadow Heights in 2nd grade, our family is fortunate to be in this school district. When I was looking for homes, I checked out reviews because test scores don't always tell the whole story, as in this case. The leadership here is now very experienced, the parents are involved and the teachers we've had so far genuinely focus on each student's success. I appreciate the diversity at this school - everyone seems to care deeply about building community, in their words and actions. The school could use more funding, as they all could! I am confident that the test scores will ultimately reflect what an amazing gem this school is.

Both my girls went here, with the youngest just graduating this year. Great teachers and great community.

This is a small neighborhood school with a strong community of families who truly love the school. The teachers are great and know how to challenge, support, and nurture my child. I have been very pleased with the level of parent involvement--there's a very active PTA. The PTA helps fund a wonderful weekly music program, Art in Action, PE four times a week, well-stocked library, and field trips. My child is engaged and loves going to school. We are fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood.

We had a very poor experience at this school. The teachers aren't motivated and are led by an ineffective principal. Many parents don't even address the real problems. We brought so many issues to the attention of the new superintendent, who acknowledged them but did nothing. The safety issues are the biggest concern. I hope and pray that nothing happens to a child there in the coming years.

We continue to enjoy and value the close-knit community of Meadow Heights. Our children attend with both neighborhood friends and with children from other neighborhoods, thus broadening their own personal experiences in forming a variety of new friendships. Our teachers are amazing and talented and dedicated and we have been happy with our new principle. We love our school and all the "extras" offered (largely due to parent/PTA suppor)t: Art in Action, PE four days/week, a librarian on the campus, music for 1/2 of the school year, field trips, and more.
