This School is very horrible in term of teaching and teacher's integrity. My baby is in Kindergarten and the teacher is extremely Rude and Unprofessional when communicating with parents regarding the child's wrongdoing during school session. The Principal is also unfair for defending her employee's behavior. Avoid this school if You like a better environment for your lovely baby!

My Family loves the Valle Vista Teachers and Staff. My home school is another one in the district but we choose to come here. Mrs. Cruz is an awesome Principal. She is always sending communications to the parents & has an open door policy. We have had amazing teachers that have helped my kids grow. With all the changes in the past 14 months, the teachers have been amazing and continuing to go the distance. They have maintained a 100% Synchronous Learning with students while Distance Learning. With the Hybrid students the transition the past 5 weeks has been an easy one for both students, staff and parents. My Family is proud to be Vikings. My husband, daughter and son have all been vikings. I am sad that VV stops at 5th and my son will need to move on. The doors being unlocked is incorrect. I have been on campus plenty of times and have been locked out when I walk out during school hours. The door that does remains open is the Front Office Door but that is it. Classrooms aren't even allowed to open & leave doors open.

The atmosphere at this school is one to be desired. The teachers use their best effort to provide the appropriate content to all the students. The teachers and principal communicate well to the parents and are very responsive to phone calls and emails.

For one, the school is not locked during school hours. Anyone can enter and leave at any time. There’s bullying happening more than it should and nothing is being done to prevent it. It’s as if the staff is aware but choose to do anything to resolve it.

Valle Vista Elementary has been a great school for my boys and family. The teachers are amazing and caring. They treat the kids like they are their own children. My kids both felt safe and challenged in their learning. Reading and Technology are big a Valle Vista. Each class room has their own set of computers/ipads. There is a large PTA presence with parents getting invovled and helping out with activities. I only wish that it went to 6th grade.

Valle Vista is great school. I'm glad i enrolled my daughter here. It's really quality education. She was molded right from the start. Thanks to her wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Cohen. Everyday my daughter is excited to go to school and doesn't want to miss it. That's why she got the Perfect Attendance award in all 3 semesters plus the All Year Perfect Attendance Award. Now that she's in grade 1, she's aiming to have them again. Also get more academic awards like what she got in kinder. The best about this school also is that kids level of learning are based on their abilities. So they are not in the same level. Like my daughter whose in advance stage of learning. They don't get tied up and get bored in what they are doing. It's a great challenge and opportunity for them to learn things in advance based on their capabilities. PTA is also great and doing their best to make this school a better place for all the students with the great support of the principal and the teachers as well. Keep it up Valle Vista!

I am very happy with this school. My children look forward to coming to school everyday. The teachers are wonderful and caring. The school offers extended kindergarten and an after-school program for working parents. The school also has a P.E. teacher for all grade levels, and music on Wednesdays after school for grades 1-6, taught by Maestro Darrell. The PTA is great and hosts DEAR nights, spaghetti dinners, movie nights, Zumba classes, clean-up days, etc. The school also has a nice computer lab and an organized library where students can easily find books in their reading levels. The campus is beautiful, with 2 playgrounds, 2 blacktops, and 2 baseball fields. It truly is a great school!
