I've been a parent at this school for a long time. I have enjoyed this school.

We love RBM! My 7 year old son has special needs and our public school district was not listening to our concerns or really teaching our child. After several IEPs and a safety concern, we looked for other school options and found Rocketship. They have been amazing! Within 6 months of starting RBM, he was counting by 5s and 10s, adding numbers, learning sight words, and telling time (all which should have happened at his previous school.) The staff is committed to figuring out how kids learn and maintains a high standard for academics. Most of all, they staff cares. They know all the kids and families; they encourage family participation. I encourage parents to check out RMB and maybe watch a morning launch!

My children have the best experience in this school. The teachers, school leaders and support staff are there to really help them grow.

My kids went to RBM for two years. During those twoyears we saw children climbing the fences to escape.Students running off of the campus and into the localstores near by and across the street and also saw staffand faculty jot implementing safety precautions untilthe last few months of school. This school does notwant to deal with the students who have disabilitiesthey continuously attempt to make the students feelless than and excluded. Many times my children camehome crying because they felt that their teachersdidn't care about them. The principal only cares aboutone thing and it isn't the students, the staff or safety.Do not go to this school.

This has been a great school for my 3 young boys. I love the teachers and administrators are engaging with parents and students and more importantly they lead and teach with an open door policy.

My overall experience at this school has been incredibly positive, and I am very happy that I chose this school seven years ago when the first of my four children began TK. My students have excelled academically, emotionally, and creatively. While the school does focus heavily on academics, the school also offers daily enrichment classes varying from gardening, art, PE, science, and dance. The school's culture is about building community and supporting one another, and celebrating our diversity. The school welcomes all with open arms.

I used to love this school but lately communication with parents is lacking. There is a month and a half of school left and I am barely being told that my child has not improved at all. Barely now they want to recommend tutoring. Bullying has also been a huge issue in with our kids. Our oldest has been struggling with bullying since she started going to rocketship since the 3rd grade (shes in 5th now).

As a parent, it is very concerning that as my child does not speak Spanish he is put on a back burner. The teaching staff is pretty good and cannot fault them as they follow management. The other staff (parking attendants, teacher aids ) only cater to Spanish speaking parents. They let them break rules and consistently portray rude behavior. Being mexican American it is very sad to see and experience. Non English families seem to be the focus. English only families are up against a majority, and if there is a problem with one of the non English families, they band together against the English only family. The turn around of good staff seem to reflect this as well. Very sad to see.

A school randomly placed on a busy road, so the parents clog up Lyndale Ave in the morning -STOP DOING THAT! While you're at it, STOP CLOGGING UP LYNDALE AVE! PEOPLE LIVE THERE! If that doesn't work, then maybe you should STOP CLOGGING UP LYNDALE AVE! If all else fails, then STOP CLOGGING UP LYNDALE AVE!

There is so much I can say about Rocketship Brilliant Minds and our Rocketeers. First of all, Rocketship Brilliant Minds is the best school in the bay area! The teachers are amazing at teaching the students. They are caring and supportive of their students learning. The kids not only learn literacy and math, they have enrichment classes like yoga, art, nutrition! These kids can do yoga poses such as tree pose, sketch and draw animals, people, and places and they can name all five food groups. These kids are being exposed to other curricular activities which makes RBM a great school to be at. Some kids attend YMCA, Kids Club, Hula dancing, Mariachi after school. They can get extra help in homework, tutoring, arts and crafts and dance. We are very lucky to have an amazing staff crew. Our kids are not only respectful and persistent, they are initiative and show lots of empathy and responsibility every day at school. Did I mention, they can also dance and they are really good at it! Lastly, Mr. Tollerson, Ms. Filsinger, and Ms. Phaff are superior principals and they do their best to help make the RBM a school that kids can look forward to going to and making learning fun!

It is a joy being a part of this caring community! The staff here is welcoming, dedicated, and creative. Everyone here from the front office, to the parent volunteers, to the cafeteria staff, and the teachers will greet you with a smile. The environment is always light-hearted and positive. Something that I truly appreciate is the ability for the staff to make the most out of the confined area they have to carry out daily activities, whether indoors or outdoors. Kudos!

The quality of instruction is so high, and the staff is so dedicated. Sometimes it is a lot of work, but it pays off in student results!

This a great school!!! I just can't say enough about RBM! They have a fantastic principal, teachers, and staff. This is my daughter's first year in TK at RBM and I'm amazed of how much she's learned already. I think she could jump to first grade next year. LOL. There are parent volunteer hours which isn't much at all, because there's just so much I could be involved with. On the positive side, it helps me become closer and supportive of my daughter and her school. Everyone treats us like one big family!
