I love this school! My kids are happy to go to school! I can tell that they feel good about being there, they are confident in what they're learning, and they're excelling academically. The kids in their classes are super nice. When we first came they were really friendly and wanted to be friends with my son right away. I've seen the same with each new student who has joined their classes. The teachers do a good job of helping them work out issues in ways that expand their character (not just "be nice", but how and why). The principal (Ms. I.) is a stunning educator and has a ton of vision for the school. The kids absolutely love her. I've really enjoyed getting to know the parent community with opportunities to volunteer together. With transitional kindergarten to eighth grade in the school, families form a very sweet long-term community. Such a great pocket inside our large city. I was worried initially about the age range at the school (older kids with my little ones), but it's turned out to be a great benefit. The older kids' leadership and service training includes how to think about and care for the younger. Such an amazing gift for each age. I'm very happy with this school right now and I think it's heading in a great direction under its current leadership.Regarding education - I've really appreciated the differentiated learning the school employs. I have kids with challenges and who are academicly advanced. I've seen the teachers in each of their grades over the years help them loves the things they're good at, and really support their learning in the areas where they struggle. The teachers in every grade/subject provide free afterschool tutoring, which also helps with completing homework.

We have had our son at St. John's for the 4th year now. He started in the kindergarten class I must say; I could not feel happier with the Faculty, Staff and parents. His teachers have been very warm, comforting and welcoming; what more can you ask for. My child has learned a lot in these four years at St. John's. I love the administration staff, principal, and their means of communication. They have everything we need, extended care and various sports he can choose from. He has great friends that I know will be with him a lifetime. I could not complain and couldn't be happier with the deciding this school for my child's education.

Great catholic school. Sister Shirley and Sister Lillian are the foundation and strength of the school where community really matters. Excellency in academic and a well rounded education including arts and sports. Highly recommended.

The current administration cares about the students and the community of St John's. Both my children have excelled and love learning which I contribute to great teachers.

My daugther came just before Mr. Willers left. I remember him caring about the students and the school. Now the active Principal Sister Shirley which I have been to her office a couple of times to complain about bullying. Which there a lot of that going on in the school. Now even more since two other school came aboard. Before we only had like 20 students per class not theres 38 students per class for 1 teacher. I don't even thing public school allow that much students per class room. Not happy with this school at this point. Alot more to say!
