My son started here in TK and is now in 3rd grade. I’m not an active volunteer because I have a toddler at home, but everyone in the office knows my son and they greet me by name. I’m so impressed with how dedicated every staff member is. I’ve loved all of my son’s teachers! I’ve even had one who wanted to purchase my two kids Christmas gifts from Santa! Absolutely amazing school, my son is excited to go to school, and is excelling. The PTA plans lots of family events like movie nights, dances, and ice cream socials. They are strict with anti-bullying, so I feel comfortable that my son is safe and happy. They use math books with instructions so parents can actually help with homework, because things have changed since we were in school. I love the Advanced Reading shirts and goals because my son can read so well now and comprehends it. Cannot say enough good things about Allen Avenue Elementary!

Teachers and staff are very welcoming and compassionate to the needs of the students.

This school is fantastic! The teachers really love the kids, and make learning fun. My son is in 1st grade and actually enjoys going to school. Admin and staff all support each other, and work very well with parents.

Teaching staff are checked out. Principal is more concerned with defending her staff than resolving issues with them. I pulled both students out before they were ruined by the lack of qualified teachers and admin.

I love Allen. Two children have gone through the school and I could not be more pleased. Here's an average of 400 to 430 students which makes it itvery small and community-oriented. The teachers are all excellent, and the principal and support staff are very involved. Everyone knows everyone and that's a good thing when it comes to our children. It set my sons up very very well for middle school, and it is a real gem!

This School is average for most districts but way below average for Bonita Unified. The Teachers I have been in contact with seem to be tired and unmotivated. The Administration is down right rude at times. The principle seems to be unconcerned with parents and overly concerned with her uniform policy. The school may have been good a few years ago but has declined in recent years. My child looked forward to starting school until he started here. The schools seem to be forgotten by the district and the infrastructure upgrades I am paying for on my property tax do not seem to be taking place here.
