We have been blessed to be a part of the Trinity family. My son has attended since Kinder and will begin 4th grade this year and my daughter will start PreK-4. We have been impressed with their curriculum and staff overall. I highly recommend TUMS for families looking for an intimate setting, character building and a superior education. My kids will be set for excellence in their academic career and, I dare say, in life because of Trinity United Methodist School.

My daughters love TUMS. Their teachers are amazing. They are taught in a patient and encouraging environment. The kids and staff are great!

I absolutely love what TUMS has taught my daughter and the activities for the kids. However, some of the kids are absolutely rotten and mean to my daughter. Either the teacher is oblivious to this or doesn't correct these kids? My daughter often comes home with bruises because a classmate pushed her. I volunteered at a few events and did not appreciate the teachers 'tone' with the kids. The final straw was her pushing me to get my daughter 'examined', I take huge exception to that because I spend more time with my daughter than she does so I know my child better then she does. I'm not taking my daughter to the appointment and I'm not taking my daughter next year to TUMS

You owe it to your children to visit this school! If you're looking for small classrooms, teachers and staff who care, and a great education. This is the school you don't want to pass up. If, your looking for your child to be in sports this would not be the school; as they only offer PE. However, if you're looking for a school that offers drama, music, Spanish, religion, and a great education this is the school to attend. I am so pleased with the education they received at TUMS. Don't let the small school fool you. Their test scores are competitive with nationally ranked schools. Love! Love! Love!

We chose this school for our son because of its high academic standards without standardized testing, daily 30 minute recess, small classes (capped at 15 students), and rotation classes (Spanish, Drama, Chapel, Computer, and PE). The parents are highly involved with their children and the school. The people are genuinely down to earth (private schools seem to have a stigma of "rich snobs," but I haven't noticed that here at all!) and friendly. The Kindergarten class has centers, the way Kindergarten used to be and should be. The Kindergarten teachers are nurturing and teach using a theme-based method and field trips coincide with what the children are learning. I'm impressed that the higher grades are writing cursive and typing. This is a small school, only one class per grade. If a child is struggling, parents need to work more at home with their child because private schools don't have reading specialists, etc (yet truthfully, parent involvement is the best anyway).

We have been very happy with this school. My child is in the pre-school and is learning not only academics but also how a classroom functions and how to interact with others. Her teachers are very kind and I am impressed with the teacher longevity.

What a blessing this school has been to our daughter. TUMS, their amazing teachers and staff have given our daughter the confidence and education to impress others at her current middle school. With small class sizes, teachers that have encouraged and worked with her to expand her knowledge to her fullest potential, technology in the classroom, we highly recommend this school for other families. The special classes such as Spanish, music, computer, drama, Latin have all been a bonus for us. In addition all the exciting field trips and special events the school plans for our children brought excitement to each school year. Trinity was more than a school for our daughter, they became an extension of our family.

We LOVE this school. Our daughter transitioned to TUMS last August and has made so many friends. We like that the after school and extended care gives our daughter (4 yrs old) to play and mingle with kids older and younger. She is an only child and thinks of school as her extended family. Teachers are educated and skilled at not only teaching but giving our daughter the confidence she needs to learn and build on skills. Our daughter's vocabulary has increased tremendously and she is writing her letters and can already count to 100 (with a little help). The extra curricular activities are nice and music and spanish classes are a real bonus!

I love the small class size and the attention each child is given. You can tell the teachers love what they are doing. The quality of education is superior and has allowed my child to flourish. With the technology the school has at the affordable tuition that is paid is a San Antonio secret. She is challenged and encouraged by the accelerated curriculum and the way it is presented. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this jewel.

This is our second child to go through the preschool program at TUMS. We could not be more pleased with the teachers and staff. They are so friendly and care about the kids. They do a lot with them in the preschool program to prepare them for kinder.
