I wished there was some standardization for giving student awards during quarterly recognition assemblies. My daughter would get certificates every year, even back-to-back principal honor roll, and this year she has not received one. Her teacher says she is an excellent student, academically and personally. No need for a parent/teacher conference. My daughter asked him why he only gave 4 certificates, and he said because he was only allowed to give 4. Then at the assembly she witnessed another teacher give certificates to almost all her students. Her question to me is, "what am I doing wrong?" I wished there was designated categories and if it's the top four, then its the top four. No room for the why not me :(

Awesome...my son couldnt be at a better school. Teachers really care about their students. Especially Principal Zanzot she awesome and really gets to know her students. Can't wait for my other children to attend.

My student had the BEST second grade teacher last year. Mrs. Rapp was amazing at reaching all of the students in her classroom, giving them pride not only in their school, and classroom but in themselves. If there was ever an issue with behavior/bullying Mrs. Rapp nipped it in the bud. I was saddened to find out she move out of state and won't be back to teach my my daughter who is in first grade now.

WOW....my children have been attending this school for 4 years and I was just emailed a letter that threatened to pull my children from this school(they are on intradistrict transfer) because they were sick at the start of last year!! First of all I pay the taxes, it is the taxpayers that keep the schools open...second of all its funny every day I get a phone call asking to support the school. If this school does not want my children there I will be more than happy to send them to a charter school where they will learn more anyway..but do not threaten me because I did not send my children to school sick, instead you need to thank me!!!!
