    I have two children at South Salem. It is a warm and welcoming environment with exceptional teachers and leadership.

    We have been at South Salem for several years and we love several things about it. The academic quality always seems to value the individual learner over just the concept by using project-based learning whenever possible. The teachers and staff also appear to all get along and want to be there. When people want to teach, the students benefit!

    My son LOVES South Salem!!! He graduates from 5th grade this year. Here's just a few reasons we love SS so much: He was allowed to shine several times as an individual and with a group. The staff is wonderful. They have all been very direct. The teachers contact your BEFORE there is a major drop in your childs grades, giving you time to get your child back on track. All the staff is there for parent and child, open for meetings, emails or telephone calls. The support from PTA is amazing!! We will miss South Salem!!! <3

    I attended South Salem, and now my daughter goes there too. Wonderful teachers, great principal, caring staff. I loved it then and my daughter loves it now. I wouldn't have her go anywhere else!
